Where can I learn Buteyko and how much does it cost?
At the moment there are relatively few qualified Buteyko practitioners in the UK and so finding one in your local area is not always easy. A list of qualified Buteyko teachers can be found on this site.
Teachers will often vary as to how they organise their teaching. Some offer individual teaching whereas others offer small group sessions. Charges also vary, but a course of five weeks tuition will usually cost between £200 - £350.
Some physiotherapists and nurses are Buteyko Breathing Association trained teachers and work only within the NHS. You can ask your doctor for a referral to a Buteyko qualified physiotherapist or nurse.
